IESF awards the best National Federation of the Year to the Philippines!

After bagging several gold medals in both the 2023 IESF World Esports Championship in Iasi, Romania, and the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia, the Philippine Esports Organization and Team Sibol have made their way in another headline.

As the representative of the country, the organization has received another prestigious award which is the best National Federation in the scene that was presented during the World Esports Summit.

Aside from the Philippines, other countries have also achieved an award in acknowledgement of their participation including Indonesia as the runner-up, Saudi Arabia in 3rd, Argentina in 4th, and finally, Mongolia finishing in 5th.

Looking back, during the 32nd Southeast Asian Games, the Philippines finished third in the overall leaderboard as the country received two medals for both the League of Legends: Wild Rift and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (men's team) event.

While in the women's banner of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, the team received silver medal and in VALORANT, Crossfire, and PUBG: Mobile's individual event, the country got three bronze medals.

The team continued their momentum in the 2023 IESF World Esports Championship. Featuring almost all the Mobile Legends team members who participated in SEA Games, the country nabbed a gold medal tally.

On the other hand, the Tekken 7 PH team received a gold medal. Note, It was also during the IESF event that the Philippines was crowned as the overall champion against 111 countries.
