Is Minecraft for kids only? PC

I'm already 29 years old and I love playing Minecraft as my time killer. One day my friends came and they all see that I'm playing this game. They commented out that "Minecraft is crap bro! It's for kids to play not adults!". I was hurt, really hurt. Should I quit or not?

Hi I am a minecraft server owner, currently hosting it for almost 7-8 months.

Actually I aim kids to join my players because kids can invite there friends easily but when I was managing my server instead of kids will be attracted it was adult, I was 18 years old this time but my players was around 19-67 years old, Yes there is an sponsor of mine that he is 67 years old and the other one is our top donator he is around 42 years old? like that and the rest was like 23-25 so yeah, Minecraft is for all ages lol.
