KonoSuba: Fantastic Days Mobile RPG Will Launch Globally On Android And iOS In 2021 iOS Android

Nexon will soon launch the global version of KonoSuba: Fantastic Days. They're the publisher behind some of the popular mobile games such as World of Dragon Nest, AxE: Alliance vs Empire, and MapleStory M. If you're familiar with Konosuba's light novel or anime series, and you do also love getting isekai'd, then this game might be of your interest.

To be honest, it's one of the few isekai stories that I enjoyed watching due to the strange underwhelming feeling I get from the main protagonist, Kazuma. Just a tiny spoiler for the new ones, Satou Kazuma isn't an overpowered MC and is somehow similar to Subaru from Re:Zero. But, that's for another story tho. Now, before we get back into the game details and announcement, why not watch the promotional video of the game to get some idea first. Enjoy!

KonoSuba: Fantastic Days is a mobile RPG that lets you form a team using the characters from the series. You'll use their abilities to battle against your opponents and progress through the story. The plot of the game is similar to how the original story goes with a few sprinkles of game-exclusive content. Based on the available footage online, it's like a 2D turn-based RPG with auto-battle and fast forward features.

The animation and designs were polished. The home screen UI was also clean unlike other mobile RPGs out there with complicated and messy icons. And, what's that? Is that a gem currency we're looking at? Can you feel it too? Let me confirm it for you. The game does have a gacha feature and that gem currency might be what you'll use to roll for characters. All hail the great gacha!

The game was a massive success after its release in Japan last February 2020. Developed by Sumzap and Kadokawa, the game will finally get a global launch with the help of Nexon. Until now, the game is receiving a lot of love from their players and because of that, regular updates and huge events are still being added to the game. Oh, what kind of events? Well, take a look at their latest event.

The image says it all. It's a collaboration event between KonoSuba and Re:Zero. I did some research and noobish translations to see which Re:Zero characters were included. The event wasn't much of a collaboration tho. Rem and Emilia are the only distinguishable Re:Zero characters included in the event. Other parts of the collaboration include Aqua dressed as Emilia and Megumin with maid outfit. Yep, I can already hear sad Subaru noises.

That's it for the details so let's move on to the official announcement that you've been all waiting for. The global launch is set in 2021 and, hopefully, we'll get the same exciting events just like what the JP players are enjoying right now. There's no pre-registration event as of right now but we'll let you know as soon as we receive the news. If you're interested in further game details, you may check the important links below.

Oh, I almost forgot my usual final speech. I'm giving thanks and the credits to Gamer, Nexon, Sumzap, and Kadokawa for the images, videos, and content that I've included here. A lot of fans are waiting for your game so on behalf of all of us, I thank you for this wonderful game. We're looking forward to KonoSuba: Fantastic Days' successful global launch.
