Black Desert Mobile

- Pearl Abyss developer of Black Desert Mobile has revealed details for the upcoming overseas release
- Currently, the game is only playable in South Korea but if you can't wait there are ways to play the game
- According to Pearl Abyss, Black Desert Mobile is scheduled to launch on Taiwan this 2018 around June to September
- it's also speculated that the rest of the Southeast Asia servers will also go up right after the Taiwan launch
- meaning it will be officially available in the Philippines soon
- So no need to use those pesky emulators with Nvidia graphics card bugs - haha
- While for the America and Europe version it will be much later as it's targeted around Jan to March of 2019 so mga kabayan abroad will have to wait a bit longer

- A new live-action adaptation of Monster Hunter has been confirmed
- The film production will start on September and will star Milla Jovovich
- If you remember Milla Jovovich also starred in the previous Ccapcom movie franchise Resident Evil
- The Monster Hunter movie will have a 60 million USD budget and is being filmed in South Africa
- It looks like Capcom likes Milla Jovovich so much they had to add her to another movie franchise
- According to the report, this will not be a single Monster Hunter film but is envisioned as series
- So like Avengers
- There is currently no release date on when its expected to hit the theaters
- Also according to the reports, the Resident Evil movie is being rebooted hopefully to a more conventional horror rather than an action flick

- Valve Software will release the new steam link app for Android, iOS devices, and even tvOS
- this app will allow PC gamers steam library to be played directly via smartphones making everything basically mobile
- The app is scheduled to launch at the end of the month during the week of May 21st, with Android support initially offered in beta.
- What the steam link app does is basically stream your steam library games to your mobile so meaning you will need a fast 5ghz wifi or wired internet connection
- otherwise, you will notice major input lag making it impossible to play fps games
- Steam says you can use the Steam Controller, MFI-compatible iOS controllers and more
- the company hasn't stated if touch devices, Bluetooth or even a ps4 controller if it would work
- Also steam is planning to launch a Steam Video app for iOS and Android which is similar to YouTube red or Netflix
- this is aimed at streaming movies and shows on Steam
Black Ops 4 Battle Royale

- The rumors are true: Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will have a Battle Royale mode.
- The mode will include land, sea and air vehicles on a huge map and will span multiple games and heroes, from across Black Ops and Zombies.
- The mode is called 'Blackout' and it replaces the single-player campaign as one of the "three pillars" of Black Ops.
- The mode will pull characters and locations from previous games in the subseries
- Treyarch hasn't mentioned how many players are going to be in the last man standing mode although they mentioned that the map will be 1500 bigger than nuketown
- They also mentioned that pc players will get dedicated servers with uncapped frame rates
- Treyarch also stated that they will do the battle royal mode in a Call of Duty style so it's unsure if they are going to use hitscan or projectile bullets
- since a majority of the weapons in Call of Duty are hitscan based
- what do you think?
- the PC version of Black Ops 4 will follow in the footsteps of Destiny 2 and utilize Blizzard’s Battle.net online infrastructure
- which means it will be on blizzards BbattleNet pc client, if you check right now you can see black ops ready for pre-order
- On the downside, Black Ops 4 won't get a single player campaign which is weird since Black Ops is known for its good story missions
- Black Ops 4 is launching on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 12th.
