Lord Knight: Ivory Lance or Halberd

It seems, Ivory Lance is very good in terms of everything except MVP. However, halberd is a very expensive item which only benefits the usage of skill pierce. I am still using my Saint spear as of now with almost ready halberd. I have seen most spear knights with halberd. Please share your thoughts.
