Developed by Klab and published by Mobimon, the newest mobile JPRG, Magatsu Wahrheit, will soon hit our mobile devices. It's now on pre-registration on both Android and iOS and its global version is set to launch this very month of October. It may be oblivious to other people, but this game has a high-quality production that drawn a huge amount of attention.
If it's your first time seeing the game, maybe you have seen its anime adaptation, Magatsu Wahrheit: Zuerst. Talk about the timing of its debut, its first episode aired just this month too! As I can see it, they're trying to keep the hype tight by releasing the game in a short gap with the anime series. It's like a 2-in-1 promotion, right?
I mentioned "high-quality" production earlier. And what I meant by that is who created what and who voiced who. For example, let's take a look at the two popular voice actors, Kawasumi Ayako & Morikawa Toshiyuki. You might know Kawasumi Ayako as Shinigami in Soul Eater, and Morikawa Toshiyuki as Dante in the Devil May Cry anime series.
That's only two out of the long list of popular voice actors that you'll hear in the game. The character design was handled by Third Echoes. They're known for their great designs and artworks which you can check out in their Third Echoes Twitter account.
As for the pre-registration event, you all know what it means - pre-registration rewards! Just take a look at the photo above and you can already see imaginary players re-rolling using their duplicate pre-registered accounts, right? Just kidding. But, yes, it seems that the developers are really generous.
The rewards are really great and the last pre-registration milestone is set only at 50,000. It's like an easy giveaway! It's far from the usual pre-registration milestones that I see which ranged from 100,000 to even 1,000,000.
The game's plot revolves around the world of Wahrheit which is under the threat of destruction from the ten "Lights" of despair. The Six Mobile Corps Captains, who are made up of people called the "Awakeners", are the ones who adapted to the light of despair and have unique powers to fight the light.
Those six people above are the captains of the six units of the Mobile Corps. Starting from the left, we have Leocadio (Warrior Unit Leader), Laurent (Knight Unit Leader), Ignaz (Priest Unit Leader), Gerold (Hunter Unit Leader), Yasmin (Gunner Unit Leader), and Jurgen (Wizard Unit Leader).
As for you, the protagonist, you'll play as a recent "awakener" after the First Light's impact. According to the game's official site, it seems that you can choose between a male and a female character. And since there are six Mobile Corps units, you'll choose which unit you want to belong to.
