Aside from the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL), another league tournament is coming to the Philippines this February 2023. It will be called the MLBB Development League, also known as MDL, which is also already a tournament that happened in Indonesia. Moonton created the official Facebook page of MDL-PH to finally announce the commencement of this tournament in the Philippines.
If MDL-PH will be similar with the Indonesian counterpart, all the current 8 franchise in MPL-PH will have an MDL team too plus, there will be teams from a qualifier. As of writing, there are still no announcements to the number of teams participating or if they will really be new teams aside from the MPL-PH franchises. The only thing that seems certain right now is that the Season 1 of MDL-PH will start on February 15, 2023.

More announcements are expected to come as February 15, 2023 is coming near. There were also information around the social media that the MPL-PH rosters are already locked for Season 11. These MPL-PH teams might also already have their MDL teams ready so the possible qualifiers is the news that some are waiting before January 2023 ends.
