Ling is a nimble assassin which is his specialty as a hero. He has the ability to roam around the map quickly just like Fanny.
Skills
Passive: Cloud Walker
Ling's superb lightness skill helps him leap from wall to wall. Ling needs to consume relative Lightness Points to cast his lightness skill. When resting on the wall, Ling restores 2 Lightness Points per second. Every time Ling deals damage to enemies, he restores 5 Lightness Points.
His passive grants him 30% Crit Chance but decreases his crit damage by 60%
Skill 1: Finch Poise
CD: 10s at all level
Permanently Increase the crit chance by 5/7.5/10/12.5/15/17.5%
Ling casts his Qinggong (Lightness Skill), leaping to the wall. Ling has a superb lightness skill so that he can jump from wall to wall (without CD) till he lands on the ground.
Skill 2: Defiant Sword
CD: 2.5s
Ling charges in the designated direction and stabs the nearby enemies at his destination, dealing 165 / 185 / 205 / 225 / 245 / 265 (+50% Total Physical Attack) points of Physical Damage. The stabbing attack will be identified as a Basic Attack with extra 25% Crit Chance, so it can trigger ATK Effects.
If Ling casts this skill when he is on the wall, he will dash to a designated spot on the ground, dealing 165 / 185 / 205 / 225 / 245 / 265 (+50% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies within a small area and will be slowed by 30% for 1.5s. If this attack deals crit damage, enemies within the area will be slowed by 45% for 0.75s.
It also restores 35/40/45/50/55/60 HP for Ling if it hits.
Ultimate Skill: Tempest of Blades
CD: 50/45/40s
Ling leaps up and casts his superb sword skill for 1.5s, during which he becomes invincible and can move freely, dealing 250 / 350/450 (+100% Total Physical Attack) points of Physical Damage to enemies within the area of effect, knocking the central enemy into the air for 1s, and generating a Sword Field that lasts for 5s. At the edge of the Sword Field, there will be 4 field eyes Tempest of Blades. By touching the field eye, Ling can reset the CD of Defiant Sword and restore 5 Lightness Points.

1. Skills Analysis
Unlock Skill 2 and prioritize it over skill 1.
2. There are spots where Ling can be invisible while staying on a wall. Explore and discover those spots by playing in practice mode. There will be an indicator on top of Ling to know if he is invisible or not.
3. Utilize Ling's capability to steal buffs and provide more map vision.
4. Ling is buff dependent like Fanny. But Ling can restore his energy by staying in the wall.
5. Buy hunter's knife at the start of the game to farm faster.
Midlaner Rotation
Go to midlane and head straight to the buff. Afterwards, you can clear the remaining minions in midlane. Then, go get a walkie grass buff.
To maximize the walkie grass buff, you can force a teamfight in the bottomlane where the enemies might be getting their goldcrab.
You can also choose to go to toplane and try to delay the farm of the enemy marksman
Offlaner Rotation
You still need to head straight towards the purple buff location before going to the top lane. Then you may try to secure little crab if the enemies are busy getting their red buff or killing crammer. Another option is to kill the scaled lizard. Then clear lane again.
If the midlaners rotate towards your lane, you may initiate a teamfight to kill the enemy marksman after getting the goldcrab buff and then cut the lane so that you can go to midlane and help the midlaners to rotate faster.
