Miya is one of the six newly revamped heroes. Arguably, she has the best improvement and it can be backed up by evidences like the statistics from the official ML:BB website. For this guide, the changes made to Miya along with some tips and tricks will be discussed.

The following descriptions are based on Patch 1.5.16

Hero Feature: A Moon-Blessed Marksman

Skill 1 - Moon Arrow: Miya splits her Basic Attack into three arrows, attacking 2 additional targets.

Skill 2 - Arrow of Eclipse: Miya calls upon the power of Moon Eclipse and launches an empowered arrow in the designated area. Upon landing, the empowered arrow deals Physical Damage to enemies in the area, immobilizes them, and splits into 8 minor arrows shooting around. Each minor arrow deals damage and slows the enemy.

Ultimate - Hidden Moonlight: Miya removes all her debuffs right away, conceals herself and increases Movement Speed. She immediately gains full stacks of Moon Blessing when the concealment is over.

Passive - Moon Blessing: Each time Miya's Basic Attack hits a target, her Attack Speed will be increased. This bonus can be stacked up 5 times. After reaching full stacks of the Attack Speed bonus Miya summons Moonlight Shadow to aid her on each Basic Attack, dealing extra Physical Damage.

The highlights of Miya Revamp will be the following

Gameplay and Rotation

Go to Gold Lane. Try to last hit the minions for extra gold. Try to get the gold crab buff too. You may try also to get more gold by attacking the shield of the outer turrets which gives gold based on the damage you dealt. Just have map awareness to avoid being ambushed. After 3 minutes and 40 seconds, that is the time to get the Orange Buff.

Normally in solo queue, you can buy Windtalker at around 5-minute mark with $2900 gold and Level 7 (you also already bought Swift Boots). Windtalker will help you to clear lanes fast so that you have enough time to take the Orange Buff or even the Turtle. It will take about 200 seconds for you to be able to buy Berserker's Fury next after having $5400 total gold gained. After getting Berserker's Fury and being level 10, this is the time that you get start being aggressive in taking objectives especially pushing the enemy inner turrets. Haas' Claws is there for survivability. You can purchase it with $7000 total gold gained. If you have low health, no need to recall. Just attack jungle monsters or minions. By this time, it is already near the 10-minute mark. You are now expected to take down the base turret. Just farm a bit to be level 12 and have enough gold to buy Scarlet Phantom while waiting for the 12-minute mark to take the lord. At the 13-minute mark, you are expected to have full build and at level 15 already. The idea here is try to gain advantage in the early game and hold on to that advantage to win the game slowly but surely since Miya performs well in the latter part of the game.

Tips and Tricks

Moonlight Archer Miya d.png

  1. Prioritize Skill 1 over skill 2
  2. Her basic skill combo is skill 2 (to immobilize the target/s) > skill 1 > basic attacks
  3. Reserve your ultimate skill to remove some debuffs that the enemy might try to cast.
  4. You may also use her ultimate skill offensively. Use ult to close gap and be concealed. The extra movement speed and being invisible helps. You may do this as you comes out of the bush so that the enemy has a lower chance to expect you. Then use skill 2 to immobilize the target. Then skill 1 plus basic attacks. What's great about this is that your passive has already full stacks after the ultimate skill so that means more DPS compared to start attacking at zero stack.
Enjoy using the Revamped Miya and hope this guide helps you. Stay tuned for more!
