Latest adjustment based on Patch 1.5.32

[Wanwan] (↓)
Ultimate (↓): Physical Attack Bonus: 50% → 40%

Let's have a skill recap:

Passive: Tiger Pace

Wanwan reveals the Vital of enemy Heroes hit by her hidden weapons. If she hits all vitals of the target, she will be able to deal 30% damage to the target for 6s.

She also deals 2.5% of target's max HP whenever she hits their Vital points.

Wanwan can move a short distance when she throws a Sleeve Dart. The speed of this movement scales with the attack speed.

Skill 1: Shallow's Path
CD: 10-8s

Wanwan throws a Swallow Dart in a designated direction, dealing 100 / 120 / 140 / 160 / 180 / 200 (+40% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies along the path and triggering Tiger Pace. The Swallow Dart will transform into a Zone of Swallow Daggers at its destination. Lasts 5s.

A Swallow Dagger returns to Wanwan, dealing 60 / 72 / 84 / 96 / 108 / 120 (+85% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies along the way and reducing their Movement Speed by 30% for 1.5s. Wanwan can restore up to 3 Swallow Dagger(s) from the Zone.

The enemy hit by the Swallow Dagger twice will be stunned for 0.5s.

Skill 2: Needles in Flower
CD: 16-12s

Wanwan removes all CC from herself immediately and loses deadly throwing needles, dealing 150 / 170 / 190 / 210 / 230 / 250 (+60% Total Physical Attack)Physical Damage to nearby enemies.

Ultimate Skill: Crossbow of Tang
CD: 40-34s

Wanwan activates her crossbow and shoots arrows to enemies whose Vitals are all hit by her for 10 time(s) in a time duration of 2.5s (Will shot 1 more time for every 40% extra Attack Speed). Each arrow deals 60/75/90 (+40% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage and the last arrow will deal Crit Damage and trigger Tiger Pace. Crossbow of Tang can only be used if an enemy's weaknesses are all hit. If Wanwan kills a target, she will switch target, prolonging the duration for a second and increasing her attack speed further by 30% (capped at 3 times).

Now, focus on the description of her ultimate skill. Every 40% attack speed stat increases her overall damage. The preparation sets will make sense if this idea is kept in mind.

Recommended Emblem: Marksman

Give 3 pts to Physical Attack and Attack Speed
Use Weakness Finder Talent

Why?

Physical Attack is for additional damage. Attack Speed is a very important stat for Wanwan. It makes her ultimate skill deal more hits.

Spell Recommendations:

Flicker

Probably the safest spell to equip since Flicker provides both offensive and defensive value. This might sound a redundant spell since Wanwan has so much mobility, but Flicker helps to trigger hidden weaknesses in awkward angles of enemies and also helps to escape tricky situations where your jumps wouldn’t suffice.

Inspire

Your go-to aggressive spell if you don’t fear getting burst down and trust your teammates. Inspire will boost your ultimate’s damage by a large margin but can also enable you to get behind enemies to trigger the last Weakness since higher Attack Speed also means more mobility.

Aegis

A purely defensive choice. Aegis helps you as well as your teammates to survive. It can help to get one last Attack off in order to trigger Crossbow of Tang. Overall it doesn’t have the same playmaking potential as Flicker or Inspire but it provides some more protection.

Recommended Item Build:
  • Swift Boots
  • Corrosion Scythe
  • Demon Hunter Sword
  • Windtalker
  • Rose Gold Meteor
  • Blade of Despair

Rotation

Go to Gold Lane. Try to last hit the minions for extra gold. Try to get the gold crab buff too.

You may try also to get more gold by attacking the shield of the outer turrets which gives gold based on the damage you dealt. Just have map awareness to avoid being ambushed.

You may take the Orange Buff if the jungler lets you in some situations like you jungler already got an orange buff by invading the enemy jungle.

Normally in solo queue, you can buy Corrosion Scythe before the 6-minute mark and you are already probably Level 7 (you also already bought Swift Boots). Just wait to be level 8 then you can start being aggressive. This is when Wanwan generally can be considered empowered enough, meaning she already reached her powerspike. This is the time that you get start being aggressive in taking objectives especially pushing the enemy inner turrets.

Other tips and tricks

341986-Wanwan-Darting-Star-Skin-Mobile-Legends-Bang-Bang-ML-MLBB-Video-Game.jpg

1. Wanwan's second skill is like the purify spell. Use it wisely.

2. Use skill 1 to clear waves fast.

3. Prioritize skill 1 over skill 2.

4. Wanwan benefits a lot from slow effects. You can use this soft crowd control effect to nearby enemies so that their escape will be delayed or it can help you create more distance between the two of you. Your skill 1 can inflict movement speed debuff.

5. Wanwan benefits a lot with the Corrosion Scythe Item. Aside from the attack speed stat, it has a passive that further increases her attack speed stat by up to additional 40%. It also has another passive effect that gives a chance to slow targets which can also help Wanwan to hit all of the weakness of a target.

6. It is not necessary to use your ultimate skill on the hero which all of the weaknesses are hit. You can target-lock another nearby hero. It is best to target a sure kill hero to abuse this ultimate skill. The duration and overall damage output will increase greatly plus you can deal damage to multiple targets one by one.

7. A trick to better hit all of the target's weakness points is to do the following:

a) use your first skill to hit the weakness point at the back.

b) hit the leftmost by using basic attack then sidestep towards right to hit the other two. You may also start from the right then go towards left depending on the situation.

c) Use your passive to jump quickly so that you can aim better and faster.

Practice this on custom practice mode so that you can perform better on classic/brawl/ranked matches.
