Mobile Legends Chang'e In-Depth Guide with Pro Tips and Tricks to Rank up Faster

To prove the credibility of the guide, here is my current stat for Chang'e.

Hero Specialty: Chang'e is a Long-ranged Mage hero.

She has longer range than most mage heroes. She is also good in poking heroes, pushing turrets, and even killing enemies under turrets because of her long range and ultimate skill. So even though she has no blink skill or even CC skill, she is ranked as S Tier because of her excellent stats and skill sets.

Gameplay Tips and Tricks

Chang'e can go mid lane since she has high movement speed for ganking sidelanes, but if there is a better midlaner such as Gusion, Chang'e should go in the sidelanes. You'll want to pair her up with a tank/support since she is quite squishy. This will help you to keep the enemy at a distance and allow you to poke them more safely. Unlock skill 2 first and prioritize it over skill 1 since upgrading skill 2 lessens its cooldown.

Early Game

Clear the first minion wave while poking the enemy heroes whenever possible using your enhanced basic attacks. You can be a little more aggressive with your poking early on while the enemy's damage is low.

After clearing the minions, go for the buff if possible. Otherwise, attack the closest green monster. You can buy a Jungle Knife to help with killing jungle monsters. Make sure you have a teammate to help you with the jungle monster. Chang'e is slow at jungling until she reaches level 4 and if she fights the jungle monster alone she will keep losing her shield.

Clear the second minion wave and go for the crab.

Continue to clear minion waves and kill jungle monsters. After reaching level 4, Chang'e is ready to go all out in a fight. If you're in mid lane, you can begin to gank the side lanes. If you're already in a side lane, keep poking the enemy using enhanced basic attacks and skill 1 until they have less than half health. AFTER the enemy uses their dashes/blinks, you can use enhanced ultimate skill to erase the enemy's remaining health. Use sprint/flicker if you think you can secure a kill without getting killed.

Mid Game

From this point on, you'll have to be careful of your positioning. If you aren't careful, the enemy can CC or burst you to death without giving you a chance to run.

If you're the midlaner, you can clear the minion wave and proceed to gank sidelanes. Signal your teammates whenever your ultimate skill is ready because you can contribute a lot of damage to teamfights. Also, take buff and crab whenever possible. Otherwise, you can push the turrets.

If you're the sidelaner, you can continue to clear minion waves and keep pressuring the enemy by poking them and pushing turrets. If you're feeling confident and know that the enemy laner can't stop you, you can steal the enemy jungle. Prioritize stealing the enemy buff monster. Use your ultimate skill to quickly steal the buff.

Late Game

Chang'e will have extremely high damage in the late game, but so will the enemy. Stay in the backline and avoid taking damage from the enemy while attacking the enemy with your skills from a long range. Keep joining in teamfights and tell them to initiate only when your ultimate skill is ready. Whenever your team kills more than 3 heroes , you can push a lane or attack the lord if your minions are too far away from the enemy turrets.

If you happen to be in an empty lane and all enemies alive are in another lane, attack the turrets until you see an enemy coming to stop you. Keep your eyes on the map and your enemy's respawn timers. If an enemy disappears from the map towards your lane or an enemy respawns, you can be sure that they will head to your lane and attempt to stop you.

Do either of the things above until you destroy the enemy base and the game ends.

Miscellaneous Tips

1. Lolita completely blocks all of Chang'e's projectiles with her shield. To deal with her, wait until her shield is on cooldown before attacking her.

2. Chang'e is good against slow heroes that have a short-medium attack range. Some examples are Terizla and Aldous (in the early game).

3. If the enemy picked Lolita, do not pick Chang'e. Choose another mage.

4. This is obvious, but just a reminder. Keep your eyes on the map at all times. Retreat and play more safely if you think the enemy team is about to gank your lane.

5. Your skill 1 has longer range than your basic attack. So after poking with basic attacks, step back a little then launch your first skill so that you can kite the enemy. Bait them to their death.

6. Chang'e can bully many heroes early game with her poking damage. Don't be afraid to harass them early on.

7. Kimmy might be a better pick than Chang'e but how about trying a hero that is not usually picked? Some players especially in solo ranked games will be surprised and a lot of players already know how to deal with Kimmy.

She is one of the best mage especially for solo queue players. How about trying to use her and tell us the results?
