Mobile Legends Esports event in 31st SEA Games concluded - Philippines got the gold medal!

The 3-day event of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports in the 31st SouthEast Asian Games ended with three countries grabbing a medal. This event started with a group stage in Day 1 with a playoffs bracket in Day 2 and Grand Finals in Day 3. Here are the results of this event.


For the group stage, it ended with Philippines and Malaysia advancing from Group A while Indonesia from Group B. Vietnam and Singapore had a tie breaker in Day 2 which made Singapore advance and met team Philippines in the bracket. Indonesia, the first seed in Group B, then faced Malaysia, the second seed in Group A.

Philippines and Indonesia won their respective bracket and thus they met for the Grand Finals. Singapore and Malaysia had a battle for third in Day 2 that ended with a 2-1 series score in favor of Team Singapore. In the Grand Finals, Philippines won against Indonesia, 3-1.


Team Philippines bagged the ML: BB Gold Medal and Indonesia finished as Silver Medalist. Team Singapore got Bronze Medal. This is a back-to-back Gold Medal for Team Philippines in SEA Games. The members of Team Philippines are the main five: PHI SOTO, PHI DEL ROSARIO, PHI IMAM, PHI VILLALUNA, PHI GONZALES, along with other players, PHI USI and PHI ALABA.

The players that Team Philippines selected to play for the 31st SEA Games came from the SIBOL Qualifiers that was won by the team Blacklist International, which is also a team in the Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines.
