Mobile Legends Gold Medal Up for Grabs in First Ever Esports Debut for the 30th SEA Games

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is the first mobile Esport game to confirm participation in the 2019 SEA Games. Since then, other Esports games have joined the lineup, making it six gold medals to be won for this division.

The MLBB Philippine Team is made up of the following members: Kenneth Jiane 'Kenji' Villa, Karl Gabriel 'KarlTzy' Nepomuceno, Carlito 'Ribo' Ribo, Jeniel 'Haze' Bata-anon, Angelo Kyle 'Pheww' Arcangel, Allan Sancio 'Lusty' Castromayor, Jason Rafael 'Jay' Torculas.



When asked how Jay, who has been playing for almost three years, got to join the Philippine team, he answered, "Kahit sino naman siguro gusto maging part ng Philippine team. I worked hard to earn my spot." Pheww says, "Maraming kelangan i-sacrifice tsaka kailangan mag commit 100%"

The Philippine team has daily practice of 8 hours, both online and offline, as part of their preparation for SEA Games.
