Mobile Legends Hero Guide: Revamped Lancelot

The fencer assassin Lancelot achieved a major tweak in the current patch of Mobile Legends. Now it's gameplay will be slightly different from his previous strategy starting from early game down to end game. His skill combo and item build also change which can cause some of you to be confused about how he can work now on the battlefield.

But no need to worry because here is a definite guide to the Perfumed Knight's revamped build, skill combo and strategy to make him a star of every match.

ITEM BUILD

Lancelot can do his thing on the battlefield if you managed to build this equipment to boost his overall abilities:

  • Warrior Boots
  • Raptor Machete
  • Endless Battle
  • Blade of Despair
  • Blade of Heptaseas
  • Queens Wing

EMBLEM TALENT

Lancelot is a skilled assassin who becomes invisible when you pour more points for his agility and overall quickness in movement and attack. Here is the emblems that you should use for our fencing hero:

  • Agility
  • Invasion
  • Bounty Hunter

SKILL PRIORITY AND COMBO

Upgrade first his Thorned Rose skill to be followed by his first skill " Puncture". Last to upgrade will be his ultimate "Phantom Execution". Let's dig right into the mechanics of how can you pull off his skill combo.

  1. Your third skill will be your first to go since it helps you to reach out to your opponents particularly the pesky marksmen with low HP and armor. Those are the easy kills for you to go especially in the early game.
  2. Use the first skill to increase Lancelot's damage by 10% thanks to his passive.
  3. Follow the first skill with basic attacks. At this rate, your damage output will increase now for a total of 20%. This happens due to the first and third skill that triggers Lancelot's passive ability.
  4. Re-cast your first skill once it cooldown to put another 10% additional damage. Follow a series of basic attacks when your first skill is still refreshing.

STRATEGY

EARLY GAME

  • Purchase Hunter's Knife as your first item at the start of the game for jungling.
  • You can ask your teammates to help you get the red buff. Afterward, go clear minion waves. Once enemy minions are all cleared, head for another jungling session. Repeat this cycle instead of waiting for new waves of minions to go your way.
  • Red Buff is essential for you to poke your enemies and have an early damage boost.
  • Check always the minimap. Look out for gankers especially when heroes reached level 4.
  • Killing enemy heroes is optional in the early game. Go for it if it's necessary or you are confident to take it down without any consequence such as your hero's death afterward.
  • Play smart: don't dive into the turret just to get a kill and later your hero will die due to the turret's massive damage. Upgrade your skills and buy excellent items first to ensure you can dish out more damage against the enemy hero.
MID GAME
  • You can call on your team to slay the Turtle at this point for buff and gold. Use the Retribution skill to quickly dispose of it. If the enemy is also heading to the turtle, call back up and contest against them.
  • Killing the Turtle will benefit your whole team and can be a game-changer. So try your best to kill it first. You now also go for an aggressive game during mid-game.
  • Don't focus too much on killing though. Destroy the turrets as much as you can since Lancelot is a good physical damage hero
LATE GAME
  • Be wary of Tank hero at this point. Chances are they are too tough for your skills. Unless necessary, don't skill spam on them.
  • Push lanes more instead of wondering on the map and looking for another hero to kill.
  • Continue to play smart; having a good item build and upgraded skills doesn't mean you can blindly charge into the enemy's jungle.
  • Secure the kill of the Lord. To ensure you can get, go kill 1/3 of the enemy's team. Then use Retribution to slay it easily.

TIPS AND TRICKS ON TEAM FIGHTS

Lancelot's first skill can pass through other enemy heroes and it can sneak into their back row. Use it as your advantage. Eliminate first the glass cannons (marksman and mage) to decrease the damage dealer of the enemy team. Finally, use your combos to Mages to burst them out. Kep your first skill to escape from clash when things get a little bit awful. Then after taking a break from damage, use it again to re-enter the clash.

FINAL WORDS

Just like any MOBA games, ML requires you to stick to the saying that "there is no I in team". Always coordinate with your teammates and don't be too greedy (in gold and buffs) and aggressive. Remember that the rules of ML is as simple as pushing the lanes and destroying the enemy base. Have fun while playing with your team and go for Mythic all together.
