The remaining 6 teams are fighting for the three spots that will still have a chance to battle for the championship on the last day. The Day 5 of M2 has some reverse sweeps and exciting highlights. Here are the results:
Match 1: Omega Vs. Alter Ego
A Philippine team versus an Indonesian team. Omega tried their best to win but Alter Ego didn't gave them a single chance. Alter Ego won with a series score of 2-0, eliminating Omega in the tournament.
Match 2: Todak Vs. Bren Esports
The MPL MY/SG Champion versus the MPL PH Champion. It was a thrilling match-up between champion teams is very worth it to watch. This ended with a reverse sweep by Bren Esports, eliminating the remaining MY/SG region representative.
Match 3: Burmese Ghouls Vs. RRQ
The MPL Myanmar Champion now went out against the MPL ID Champion in a best of 5 upper bracket final series. It was a great draft and plays battle in which it is evident that Burmese Ghouls are really prepared. Burmese Ghouls won the first 2 games then RRQ won Game 3 and Game 4. And in Game 5, Burmese Ghouls was victorious thus securing a Grand Finals slot while RRQ will proceed to the lower bracket finals.
Match 4: Bren Esports Vs. Alter Ego
The remaining Philippine team tried to hold on as they battle against the MPL ID 1st runner-up. Alter Ego won Game 1 but Bren Esports again managed to pull off a reverse sweep!
At the end of the day, Bren Esports advanced to face RRQ Hoshi in the lower bracket finals while Burmese Ghouls is waiting in the Grand Finals.
Alter Ego finished as the 4th placer while the remaining 3 teams will battle for glory to be the M2 Champion.
