Patch Notes 1.4.78 [Advanced Server] 05/14/20. From The Designers: In this update, we've made adjustments regarding the solo fighting ability of some of the tank heroes. And we've also lowered the price of defense equipment items. With these new adjustments, we hope tank heroes could do more things than just soaking damage and providing control. We want them to have a certain degree of farming ability, as well as damage-dealing capability so that they can pose more threats when they are geared. We'll keep an eye on how this shakes out and make further adjustments accordingly. In the meantime, we are also considering the role adjustments for some of the tank heroes. Please stay tuned, and your feedback is greatly appreciated.

I. New Heroes & Revamped Heroes

Spacetime Swordmaster - Revamped Saber
Note: Revamped Saber is available for a free trial on the Advanced Server for a limited time.

Skill 1 - Flying Sword:
Saber shoots out 5 flying swords, dealing damage to enemies. Spinning swords will circle around Saber for a while and then fly back to him. In this duration, damage dealt by Saber will cause spinning swords to pierce through the target, dealing damage to all targets on the path.

Skill 2 - Charge:
Saber charges towards a designated direction, dealing physical damage to all enemies on the path. Saber enhances the next Basic Attack when charge ends, dealing damage, and slowing the target.

Ultimate - Triple Sweep:
Saber attacks an enemy hero, knocking the target airborne, and then dealing 3 blows continuously. Each blow deals physical damage.

Passive - Enemy's Bane:
Saber's damage reduces the enemy's physical defense.

II. Weekly Free Heroes & New Skins

1. Luo Yi's Skin "Yin-yang Mage" will be available on May 16 (Server Time). Diamond 269. First two weeks 81% Diamonds OFF.

2. Hanzo's Skin "Insidious Tutor" will be available on May 19 (Server Time). Diamond 749. Launch week 30% Diamonds OFF.
  • Painted Skin "Evil Tutor" of Hanzo's Skin "Insidious Tutor" will be available on May 19 (Server Time) for 188 Diamonds. Launch week 30% Diamonds OFF.
  • Hanzo and his Skin "Insidious Tutor" will be in a bundle and available on May 19 (Server Time). Launch week 30% Diamonds OFF.
  • Hanzo, his Skin "Insidious Tutor" and Painted Skin "Evil Tutor" will be in a bundle and available on May 19 (Server Time). Launch week 30% Diamonds OFF.
3. Free Heroes:

III. Hero Adjustments

  • Basic Attack decreased by 10. Attack Growth reduced by 2 at all levels.
  • Moon Blessing: Basic Damage of Moonlight Shadow increased from 0 to 10, Attack bonus increased from 20% to 40%, duration increased from 3 to 4s.
  • Hidden Moonlight: Now, the passive effect starts counting when the concealment ends.

Yu Zhong
  • Cursing Touch: Yu Zhong now gathers Sha Essence from damaging the enemies, starting from 0. Upon reaching 100, Yu Zhong gains 40% Movement Speed and 25% Spell Vamp until Sha Essence runs out. Yu Zhong now applies Sha Residue to his enemies (Sha Essence is not consumed in the process).
  • Black Dragon Form: Stun and knockback removed. Extra HP increased by 200 at all levels.
Yi Sun-shin
  • Since the Turtle Ship Enhancement doesn't quite fit into the new playstyle of Revamped Yi Sun-shin, which is mainly around taking advantage of Weapon Mastery repeatedly, we totally removed this enhancement. We improved his passive damage in return.
  • Heavenly Vow: Removed Turtle Ship Enhancement. Damage of enhanced Basic Attack adjusted from 85%/65% to 85%/55%.
  • One-wave Sweep: Removed Turtle Ship Enhancement. Removed HP regen upon target hit. Effect added: After skill cast, he gains control immunity and 30% Damage Reduction for 1s.
  • Mountain Shocker: Effect added: Each skill level-up increases passive damage by 5% (i.e. Passive damage is increased by 90%/60%, 95%/65%, 100%/70% at level 4, 8, 12, respectively)
  • Basic Damage increased from 120 to 128, growth decreased from 7.6 to 7.1.
  • Steel Bones: Removed HP regen from attacking high HP enemies. Effect added: Rage gain from each damage taking. Enhancement on next Basic Attack upon reaching certain rage. Conversion ratio of HP lost to Physical Defense gain adjusted to 2.5%.
  • Blast Iron Fist: Optimized animation. Basic Damage adjusted to 200-300+150% of Total Magic Power. Damage over time adjusted to 100-150+20% of Total Magic Power.
  • Unbreakable: Charging duration only affects charging distance now. Taunting duration adjusted to 1.2s.
  • Basic HP reduced by 100.
  • Cyclone Sweep: Effect added: Each time an enemy takes damage from this skill, they take 25% increased damage next time, up to 100% increased damage. Initial damage adjusted accordingly.
  • Lethal Counter: Basic Damage adjusted to 300-500, Physical Attack bonus adjusted to 100%.
  • Bloodthirst: HP regen on minion or creep kill adjusted to 5%. HP regen on hero elimination adjusted to 20%.
  • Passive: Removed HP regen at low health.
  • Combat Ritual: Slow adjusted to 40%.
  • Art of Hunting: Splash range of the last 2 blows greatly increased.
  • Power of Wildness: Effect upon reaching full stacks adjusted to 50% increased total damage and 40% Physical Penetration gain. Basic Damage and stacked damage adjusted accordingly.
  • Basic damage increased from 112 to 120, growth decreased from 6.8 to 6.4.
  • Deadly Pincers: Basic Damage decreased from 200-350 to 150-250. Physical Defense gain increased from 150% to 200%.
  • Electromag Rays: Basic Damage increased from 80-155 to 100-175. Damage bonus adjusted from 20% Physical Defense to 40% of Total Magic Power.
  • Rapid Touchdown: Minimum speed-based damage adjusted from 300-600+90% of Total Magic Power to 400-600+160% Total Magic Power. Maximum adjusted from 750-1500+225% of Total Magic Power to 700-1050+280% of Total Magic Power.

  • Basic damage: Increased from 114-129, growth decreased from 8 to 7.
  • Be good!: Basic Damage adjusted from 150-350 to 160-360. Physical Attack bonus increased from 150% to 180%. Shockwave now does the same amount of damage as the slash damage.
  • Don't run, Wolf King!: Removed outer ring damage bonus.
  • I'm offended!: Basic Damage adjusted from 205-475 to 200-480, Physical damage bonus increased from 180% to 200%.
  • Let's dance!: Defense bonus after each jump adjusted from 17-40 to 23-40.
Power of Nature: Basic Damage decreased from 300-600 to 300-500. Physical Damage bonus increased from 40% to 80%. Mana cost reduced from 90-140 to 50-100.

Baxia-Shield Unity: Basic Damage increased from 280-380 to 300-400. Total Magic Power bonus increased from 55% to 60%. Stun duration increased to 0.8s. Damage and stun duration while leaping up increased by 1.25 times. Leaping CD adjusted to 1.5s.

IV. Battlefield Adjustments

1. Fixed the issue where once energy runs out, Kimmy would get stuck temporarily due to constantly hitting attack button while skill 1 is active.
2. Fixed the incorrect displacement of Kimmy once getting dragged by Kaja's ultimate while attacking.
3. Fixed the vision loss of summons from Atlas's skill 2 during enemy Helcurt's ultimate.
4. Fixed the issue where Rafaela's passive locks onto assister instead of the eliminator in certain instances.
5. Reduced skill animation of Johnson's ultimate. Johnson accelerates faster now after transforming.
6. Fixed the issue that players can open mini-map while Arrival is on CD.
7. Fixed the issue that Control immunity doesn't work against Silvanna's restrain, Masha's disarm, and Aurora's freeze.
8. Fixed the issue that damage of Carmilla's Curse of Blood pierces through invincible, as well as some issues on continuous damage.
9. Fixed the issue that the description and indication of some shifting skills didn't change correctly inside and outside of the battlefield.
10. Fixed the issue that the color indicator on the mini-map didn't change for enhanced Lord in certain instances.
11. Fixed the issue where while watch replay, hero skills go into CD when other heroes use the same skills.
12. Vengeance: Effect adjusted: In the first 3s, reduce damage taken. Upon receiving damage from enemy units, deals Magic Damage to them.
13. Petrify: Duration increased from 0.7 to 0.8s.
14. Custom Tank Emblem: Attack and Defense rework: In 1s after the next Basic Attack, deal Magic Damage to nearby units. CD: 15s
15. Respawn time: Adjusted from "6.5+1.8xHero Level+Match Time" to "3.2+2.1*Hero Level+Match Time".

1. Molten Essence: Crafting price reduced from 570 to 500.
2. Oracle: Crafting price reduced from 640 to 590.
3. Brute Force Breastplate: Crafting price reduced from 860 to 760.
4. Twilight Armor: Crafting price reduced from 840 to 680.
5. Guardian Helmet: Crafting price reduced from 460 to 260.
6. Athena's Shield: Crafting price increased from 130 to 230.
7. Fury Hammer: Crafting price reduced from 730 to 580. Total crafting price of Blade of the Heptaseas and Hunter Strike remains the same.
8. Roaming Equipment Items

Unique Passive - Thriving: When your Gold ranks the 5th on your team, bonus Gold gain reduced to 15 per 4s. When your EXP ranks the 5th on your team, EXP gain reduced to 30.
