Mobile Legends Patch 1.7.06 Advance Server Hero Adjustments Highlights - Gord buff and Thamuz nerf

In preparation for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang August 2022 original server update, the game's advance server is starting to readjust the heroes for the final output before it will be official announced and implemented in servers globally. The highlights of the latest advance server update is the buff to the hero, Gord and additional nerf to Thamuz. The latest advance server patch note is Patch 1.7.06 released at the final week of July 2022 and here are the highlights.

1. Gord buff

Gord's been struggling to hold down his enemies thus, the developers decided to buff his Passive, allowing him to inflict a higher slow with multi-skill hits.

[Passive] (↑)
Slow Effect: 30% >> 20%
Duration: 0.5s >> 1s
New Effect: The slow effect can stack 2 times.

The focus for this Gord buff is on his passive. In the previous huge update, the slow effect was added to his passive to help him control enemies and hit his skills more precisely. But as it turns out, it is still not enough thus the slow effect can now be stacked 2 times as the new effect of his passive. The duration was also doubled and to not make him overpowered, the percentage of slow effect per stack was reduced to 20%.

2. Thamuz nerf

Thamuz's still dominating the early game, so the developers further dampened his lava power by restricting his access to his Skill 1.

[Skill 1] (↓)
Cooldown: 2s >> 3s

This is just a quick readjustment to try to make Thamuz balanced especially in the early game where no other hero currently can reliably be on par with him. This was proven by being a top pick in recent high competitive tournaments and with great stats in ranked games. With this update, Thamuz is expected to be not so overbearing and impactful in the early game which might dictate the result of the whole game.

The other adjustments brought by this latest advance server patch note are several hero adjustments that are still unclear. An example to this is the adjustment to a new hero named Fredrinn since there are still many changes that can be made to him before his release in the original server with no current official date of release announced as of writing this article. There are also minor bug fixes along with some system adjustments.

Stay tuned for more news and updates!
