Mobile Legends Patch Note 1.7.10 Advance Server - Masha Nerf and other Hero adjustments

Even after the recent big update in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang original server, there are still rebalancing hero adjustments to be tested in advance server. These adjustments are still independent from the ongoing MPL tournaments and are expected to be only based on stats from advance server. Thus, these changes might still be readjusted before it will be implemented in global server. Here are the some of the hero adjustments highlights brought by the latest advance server patch note.

1. Masha nerf

Slightly lowered Masha's Max HP and lifesteal at high HP.

[Attribute] (↓)
HP Growth: 165 >> 135

[Passive] (↓)
Physical Lifesteal at 2 HP Bars: 25% >> 15%
Physical Lifesteal at 1 HP Bar: Total value remains unchanged.

Masha is one of the heroes that her performance is very highly dependent on the player-skill level. Being on a solo queue or having teammates also impacts Masha's stats in Ranked Games. It seems that these adjustments are for the lower ranks that are having a hard time in dealing against Masha while also slightly nerfing its capabilities in the competitive scene.

2. Granger buff

Enhanced the Basic Attack strengthening effect of Granger's Skill 2. This will also increase his skill cap.

[Skill 2] (↑)
Basic Attack Damage Boost: 10-30% >> 25-40%

Granger is still having a hard time to keep up with the top heroes in the current metagame. It can't be helped that his mechanics limits him and made him harder to use to clear minion waves. As a jungler, he also can't still keep up with the accelerated farming speed. So to help him get better, his skill 2 was buffed and mastery of using this skill 2 will now matter more and thus increasing his skill cap.

3. Lapu-Lapu buff

Enhanced the damage of Lapu-Lapu's Ultimate so he can dish out more damage in teamfights.

[Ultimate (Enhanced)] (↑)
First Two Attacks' Damage: 300-450 + 140% Physical Attack >> 380-580 + 160% Physical Attack

Lapu-Lapu is another hero to be compensated by buffing damage potential. He is not that one-dimensional of a hero but this is just what he is known for, being able to deal high damage. The aim seems to test how much damage should he have in order to be considered a top threat for pro players.

4. Bane buff

Enhanced Bane's early to mid-game sustain.

[Skill 2] (↑)
Base HP Regen: 160-285 >> 200-300

This is a slight adjustment to a hero that has slightly dropped in popularity. Bane suddenly got overshadowed by the likes of the rising Thamuz jungle pick, Julian jungler, and other recently buffed heroes. Bane dropped down in other's priority list in picking heroes all through out the laning options across all roles. This should help remind players again and motivate them to explore Bane in this current metagame.

5. Jawhead buff

Further enhanced Jawhead's early to mid-game damage.

[Skill 1] (↑)
Base Damage: 120-220 >> 150-250

Jawhead is another hero that recently got overshadowed. The previous months highlighted the Tank heroes, which are all relatively tankier than Jawhead. Jawhead used to be a top roamer but as the metagame requires to be more bulky, Jawhead was also dropped down in priority. This slight buff should also motivate players to try to explore Jawhead's playstyle as it can also be played as a damage-type rather than the usual Roaming/Support playstyle.

This latest advance server patch note gives the players an idea on which heroes might get the spotlight in the upcoming global server updates. This is also the beginning of the experimental adjustments and finalization of some others as it is expected that the next original server update will be for the next ranked season. Project NEXT updates might be coming up and there might still be more surprises that the developers have planned for the game.

Stay tuned for more news and updates!
