Mobile Legends Patch Note 1.7.52 Advance Server featured upcoming nerfs to Karrie and other M4 top heroes

A good chunk of the M4 Knockout Stage has already been played with more than half of the total teams are eliminated when the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Advance Server updated. What's noticeable in this update is that the top heroes used in the M4 World Championship will receive nerfs of varying degrees. The most overpowered heroes will receive more significant nerfs while the others will be rebalanced accordingly. Here are the highlights of the latest patch note 1.7.52 in advance server.

1. Karrie nerf

Now that Karrie triggers two Attack Effects during her Ultimate, she's triggering her passive too frequently with Golden Staff. In this update, her damage in the mid-to-late game was reduced.

[Passive] (↓)

Damage: 8%-12% of target's Max HP >> 8% of target's Max HP

[Ultimate] (↓)

Basic Attack Damage: 65%-75% Total Physical Attack >> 60%-70% Total Physical Attack

Basic Attack's Attack Effect: 65%-75% >> 60%-70%

Karrie's passive was nerfed by removing the damage scaling. Aside from that, another damage nerf was applied from its ultimate skill. The item Golden Staff is considered in this adjustments suggesting that this is a staple item to Karrie as observed too in the current M4 tournament.

2. Yve nerf

The cooldown of Yve's Starfield was increased and reducing her Skill 2's initial slow effect.

[Skill 2] (↓)

Initial Slow Effect: 50% >> 25% (Final Slow Effect remains at 75%)

[Ultimate] (↓)

Cooldown: 50-40s >> 65-55s

The adjustments for Yve are straightforward. Her ultimate skill cooldown is now again increased by 15 seconds. The cooldown scaling of her ultimate skill remains the same while her skill 2 is also nerfed.

3. Valentina nerf

The game designers/developers want to give Valentina's opponents enough time to react to her Ultimate.

[Ultimate] (↓)

Cooldown: 55s >> 70-60s

Valentina's ultimate skill is still too game-changing and thus, the cooldown is increased. The cooldown of her ultimate skill will now scale based on its level. In late game, the increase in cooldown is still noticeable as in max level, the cooldown is still longer with this adjustment by 5 seconds.

4. Hayabusa nerf

Hayabusa is overperforming in this version, so his early to mid game damage is slightly reduced.

[Skill 1] (↓)

Base Damage: 170-270 >> 150-250

For Hayabusa, only his skill 1 base damage is targeted by the nerf. The damage scaling remains the same but the 20 less base damage points is noticeable. This will indeed have impact in his early to mid game while in late game, the 20 point less damage will be not that much material.

5. Gloo nerf

Optimized Gloo's wall interaction. Goos will not get stuck in walls anymore.

Gloo's damage and HP Regen in the early-to-mid game were reduced since Gloo was too much of a lane bully.

[Skill 1] (↓)

Slam Damage: 200-300 >> 100-250

HP Regen from Goo: 3% >> 1.5%-3%

Gloo's skill 1 is nerfed in terms of damage and HP regen. At level 1, the damage nerf is very noticeable as the slam damage is nerfed from 200 cutting it half to 100. Meanwhile in late game, the damage nerf is only about 50 points and thus, the damage scaling of his skill 1 is also adjusted accordingly.

Aside from these, other hero adjustments were also made like Revamped Minsitthar receiving more balancing update. The latest revamped hero Hanabi will also be receiving updates after seeing her performance in the original server. These adjustments are expected to be applied in the original server in the next official update.
