The Group Stage of the currently ongoing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M4 World Championship has concluded. This helped the game designers to know which heroes will need adjustments. In the advance server, a new batch of adjustments are being tested. Here are the hero adjustments to the heroes, Layla, Lapu-Lapu, and Julian.
1. Layla buff
Slightly increased Layla's attributes.
[Attribute] (↑)
Movement Speed: 240 >> 248
Base HP: 2500 >> 2580
Revamped Layla needs more love. Layla is not expected to be picked in the M4 World Championship. Layla needed a niche to have a slot in team drafts that can make it outclass other marksman heroes. For now, she received a movement speed buff and base HP increase.
2. Lapu-Lapu nerf
Lapu-Lapu currently performs too well in both teamfights and laning, so his Skill 1 damage is nerfed.
[Skill 1] (↓)
Base Damage: 175-300 >> 140-265
Lapu-Lapu is performing a now a bit too well than expected in both ranked games and in the M4 World Championship. It is nerfed to rebalance it and the target was his skill 1 to not make it that significant. The base damage of his skill 1 received a 35 damage nerf across all levels.
3. Julian buff
They are making Julian's enhanced Skill 2 more impactful.
[Enhanced Skill 2] (↑)
Damage: 60-80 +12% Magic Power >> 75-115 +15%
Julian went to one of the top banned and picked hero down to missing many games not only in the M4 Tournament but also in ranked games. He needed this buff to at least bring back some of his popularity and viability. His enhanced skill 2 has now a different scaling numbers and this should make him more significant as he will now deal more damage in the late game and scales better now as the game progresses. This might also help him snowball better.
Revamped Minsitthar is also readjusted in the advance server along with some bug fixes and more. These adjustments are not expected to be immediately implemented in the official server until the M4 World Championship concluded. There might be more adjustments coming up and expect a hotfix or an update for this month of January 2023.
