Mobile Legends Patch Notes 1.8.54 Advanced Server Highlights - Every significant hero buffs

Aside from the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Attack on Titan (AOT) collaboration, the game is also looking forward to making the metagame balanced and stable as January 2024 is about to end. The latest advanced server patch note is 1.8.54 in which this may be a hint that an original server update is coming in a few days or weeks. This patch note buffed some heroes because their performance was found lacking in the current Ranked Season. Here are every significant hero buff along with some insights the game developers/designers have written in the latest test server update.

Paquito has been a popular pick and does very well in professional competition. However, his performance has been lacking in regular Ranked matches. By changing the width of Paquito's Skill 2 and Ultimate to be identical to his Skill 1, they hope that players will now land his skills more consistently with a better hit rate.

[Skill 2] (↑)
Greatly increased skill width to be identical to Skill 1.

[Ultimate] (↑)
Slightly increased skill width to be identical to Skill 1.

This is a significant buff to Paquito despite the short description on this update. His skill 2 adjustment is to “greatly” increase its skill width to be identical with his skill 1. The ultimate skill also will now have a similar skill width making all of his active skills be having an identical skill width. Players in the regular ranked games are having a hard time landing those skills and thus, this should improve Paquito’s performance now in the upcoming ranked matches. Do note though that this is still being tested in the advanced server and not yet globally implemented in the official server.

The game hopes to keep Ixia's overall damage intact while improving her mobility.

[Skill 1] (↑)
Cooldown: 8-4s >> 4s at all levels
Base Damage: 175-300 >> 100-300

The game nerfed the early to mid game damage of her skill 1 but it now has a lower cooldown. The adjustment is made to improve her mobility and since the cooldown at level 1 is now halved compared to before, they lowered the damage in the expectation that players can now use this skill around twice as many as before.

Edith can now deal more damage.

[Passive] (↑)
Bonus Damage: 3-6% (based on level) Magic Damage Based on Max HP >> 4-8% (based on level) Magic Damage Based on Max HP

This is another buff with a short description but definitely is another significant hero adjustment. Edith now deals higher bonus damage based on max HP from her passive. It is a 1% buff at level 1 and it now scales higher and would end up with 2% more magic damage bonus compared to before (from 6% to 8% at Edith Level 15). This would boost her performance in ranked games as the increase in damage helps the general players to play Edith as a top tier threat while also rewarding the above-average mechanically-skilled players with this buff.

  1. Minsitthar

Minsitthar is now more powerful in the Exp Lane.

[Skill 1] (↑)
First Damage: 175-300 + 180% Extra Physical Attack >> 175-300 + 200% Extra Physical Attack
Second Damage: 175-300 + 180% Extra Physical Attack >> 175-300 + 200% Extra Physical Attack

[Skill 2] (↑)
Damage: 300-500 + 160% Extra Physical Attack >> 300-500 + 180% Extra Physical Attack

This is the longest description among the buffs in this list. The changes are more from the bonus damage brought by the Extra Physical Attack stat. For both his skill 1 and skill 2, the bonus damage from the extra physical attack stat has been increased by 20% (from 180% to 200% for skill 1 while from 160% to 180% for skill 2). This would make Minsitthar be more on par with top heroes in Exp Lane. This buff may also have been made so Minsitthar could keep up with the other buffed heroes like Paquito and Edith.

The MLBB X AOT collaboration is scheduled to come up on January 31, 2024, Wednesday. This means the game has about more than a week to at least maybe release a quick update on the official server if there would be no huge monthly regular update this month. The adjustments here in this latest advanced server patch notes may also be already included in that update before January 2024 ends.

Stay tuned for more news and updates!
