Mobile Legends Patch Notes 1.8.60 Advanced Server Hero Adjustments to Hayabusa, Edith, Guinevere, and Silvanna

Along with the recent adjustment to Marksman heroes, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang game also adjusted heroes in the other roles. In the latest advanced server update released on February 7, 2024, the game developers/designers improved the move and attack control experience. Aside from the usual experimental adjustments, there are four heroes that received significant changes which are Hayabusa, Edith, Guinevere, and Silvanna. Guinevere is rebalanced to keep her in check while the others receive buffs in order for them to be on par with the current top heroes in the metagame. Here are the adjustments to be heroes brought by the latest patch notes, 1.8.60.

1. Hayabusa buff

Compared to other junglers, Hayabusa seems weak in early-game combat and jungling.

[Skill 1] (↑)
Base Damage: 150-250 >> 180-250

It turns out Hayabusa hasn’t kept up with the current power creep of the heroes especially among junglers. Thus, they decided to buff his skill 1 so that it deals higher damage in the early to mid game but at max level, the damage remains the same. This is to help him clear the jungle much faster and be a threat early game just like the other top junglers in the current metagame.

2. Edith adjustments

The game fixed the issue where Edith's Passive "Damage to Minions increased to 300%" didn't work. In the last patch, her Passive's damage was greatly increased, so the damage bonus to Minions has been changed accordingly.

[Passive] (~)
Damage on Minions increased to 200% (a buff during laning)

The game wants to buff Edith’s laning as she also has great potential in EXP lane or even midlane aside from being a viable roamer too. They increased her damage on minions via her passive. This adjustment was applied in the previous update but it turns out it didn’t work so this time, they fixed it but with a slightly lower bonus as her passive’s damage is already decent.

3. Guinevere nerf

Adding Stun to Guinevere's Skill 2 has benefited Guinevere players' control experience, but as a Fighter, she is now too powerful against enemy back-row heroes.

[Skill 2] (↓)
Cast Range: 6 >> 5

Guinevere has become overpowered because aside from the previous buffs, her skill 2 has already a great potential. Now, she became a top option for a fighter hero that dives into the enemy backline because of the range of her skill 2. Thus, they slightly reduced its range so that enemies could have time to react and try to dodge or deal with her skill 2 while still rewarding the highly mechanical skilled players.

4. Silvanna buff

Based on the previous changes to Silvanna, they removed the feature of her Ultimate locking on enemy heroes, which allows her to use her Ultimate without a target while also allowing enemies to dodge her Ultimate; they've kept the change to Skill 1 and enhanced Skill 2.

[Skill 1] (~)
Skill Revamp: It now has only one stage where she dashes in the target direction, dealing damage to nearby enemies and stunning them. The dash distance is reduced.

Cooldown: 12-9s >> 7s

[Skill 2] (↑)
Base Shield: 250-400 >> 350-500
Cooldown: 9-7s, upon skill casting >> 7-5s, after the skill ends

Her skill 1 is revamped and will now be a one-stage skill. Its cooldown is lowered due to that along with the dash distance being reduced. Her skill 2 was also adjusted and it now gives more shield with its cooldown also adjusted. Aside from the cooldown timer, the players need to take note that that timer now starts after the skill animation of her skill 2 ends instead of upon skill casting.

These adjustments are likely to be included in the next update in the game’s official server. There may be changes to be made so players should also need to be kept updated on the weekly test server’s update. Aside from these hero adjustments, numerous marksman heroes received adjustments and will further increase the changes log to be included in that anticipated huge update in the original server once most of these, if not all, are to be implemented globally.
