Moonton's Project NEXT development for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) game this year has finally been announced to be implemented starting June 27, 2023. The announcement of this huge update was made via the official MLBB YouTube channel wherein some upcoming contents were revealed. The video gives glimpse on what is about to come soon and to what will gradually change about the game. Here are the important highlights of that video along with the important dates to keep in mind for the gradual Project NEXT implementation.
The implementation of the revamped emblem system has been re-announced. The new system was postponed several months ago because it needed further testing and improvement in the MLBB Advance Server. There is also a so-called Ranked Match 2.0 wherein not much detailed was revealed in the video. The rank Mythic Immortal can be seen though with 100 star points and there was a glimpse of Season 29 theme which would be Outlaw. The previously-announced UI revamp has also been mentioned.
The revamped emblem system is expected to be implemented on June 27, 2023, which will be the same time with the huge original server update scheduled after the MSC 2023 tournament. The next date to be aware of is July 1, 2023 where the new Eruditio story will be unveiled. The upcoming new hero Ixia will then be expected to be released on July 8, 2023. However, the other huge updates will seem to be implemented on September. This includes but not limited to the New Main Interface Art Style and some revamped heroes. The preview only showed Johnson, Bruno, and Lolita but there might be more heroes to received revamped version this September.

That's it for the major updates to be brought by the upcoming development project. The game updates will be done gradually as not everything will be implemented in June or July. It might take a whole ranked season before everything will be settled in order for the last quarter of the year's season will be prepared for the new metagame. The timing of the update is expected to be aligned with the upcoming huge MLBB tournaments too like the MPL and M5 World Championship.
