Mobile Legends SIBOL PH team won the 15th IESF World Esports Championship Asia Qualifier

A Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament called IESF World Esports Championship (IESF-WEC) recently finished its Asia Qualifier which was won by the Philippine representative, SIBOL. Philippines won versus Mongolia in the best-of-5 Grand Finals series for Asia Qualifier with a 3-0 sweep. All throughout this qualifier, SIBOL only lost a single game which was against Mongolia in their Upper Bracket best-of-3 series.

The SIBOL team sent to represent the Philippines in 15th IESF-WEC Asia Qualifiers is similar with the squad sent for SEA Games which are composed of Bren Esports players (MPL team recently rebranded to AP Bren). In their run, they also faced team Cambodia and won 2-0. The same Cambodian team is what the representatives from Mongolia faced in the lower bracket finals where the latter won 2-1.

As the winner of the Asia Qualifiers, Philippines' MLBB SIBOL team will be part of the sixteen countries that qualifies for the main event of 15th IESF-WEC. The main event is scheduled to happen on August 25, 2023 to September 3, 2023 in Romania. Other information about this tournament will be announced via the official MLBB and IESF social media accounts.
