1. Preparation
Use Assassin Emblem. For Talents, choose High and Dry and give 3 points for Movement Speed and Physical Pen.

The recommended item build for Masha is comprised of the following items: Swift Boots, Demon Hunter Sword, Corrosion Scythe, Windtalker, Queen’s Wings and Immortality.
2. Know your role
Unlike most fighters, getting objectives is her best role in the team. She need not to be present in teamfights. When there is a teamfight, Masha needs to secure objectives while her teammates are buying her time and space.
Use such opportunities to destroy turrets, secure turtle and lord, or as simple as stealing their buffs. She can do this much better than most fighters because of her high DPS.
3. Micromanagement tips in 1v1 situations
Even though she is not effective in teamfights, she excels in 1v1 situatuons. First important tip is to activate your first skill as much as possible.
Don't forget to make sure to hit the target with your second skill too because it will give an advantage.
When the target tries to escape, that is the time you will use your blink skill which is your third skill.
Lastly, if that enemy hero drops to low HP, use Execute.
4. Have map awareness and Ambush!
Always check the mini-map every 3 seconds and try to predict enemy's movements. Hide in the bush and wait for a target.
This is much effective if you have a teammates with a good crowd control skill alongside. Make sure though that the enemy is alone since if there are other enemy heroes nearby, you might get yourself killed instead.
Perfect targets are squishy heroes and not tanks since it will take time before you can kill a tanky hero which will give enough time for its teammates to back up.
5. Don't pick Masha all the time. Learn to adjust!
If you still don't have a core hero, make sure to at least master using some core heroes. If your team still don't have a tank, pick a better tank hero.
Also, pro players don't pick Masha if the enemy team picked Thamuz. Masha will have a hard time facing Thamuz in offlane.
But if ever that Thamuz is picked after you already locked Masha due to the enemy team being the last pick, just play safe and don't be too much aggressive when facing Thamuz.
