The roster of every team competing in the MLBB Professional League Philippines (MPL-PH) Season 12 has already been announced. In the roster of Blacklist International, it is noticeable that the names of the famous duo of OhMyV33nus and Wise, also known as V33Wise, are not included for this upcoming season. It means that V33Wise won't also be eligible to play for the M5 World Championship.
V33nus already explained why they were taking a break via a podcast. She said that season 11 really drained them. She and Wise thought that they could take a break last MSC 2023 but they needed to play there to help Blacklist International for a podium finish. That's why their break got moved to this MPL-PH Season 12 instead.
Moonton also already released a statement about the previous issue of roster locks. Moonton said that the MSC 2023 rules were already communicated early on. This means there might have been a miscommunication or misunderstanding on the part that V33Wise could have taken a break in MSC 2023 despite playing for Blacklist International in MPL-PH S11 earning them an MSC 2023 slot. Blacklist International finished as runner-ups in MSC 2023 with V33Wise. Now in the upcoming M5 World Championship, with the roster lock in MPL-PH S12, Blacklist International will fight for a slot without V33Wise on their roster.
