Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans: Urdr Hunt revealed to be getting an anime film

An anime adaptation for Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans: Urdr Hunt has been announced by Sunrise. The upcoming anime will be set in the universe of the mobile game. Add to that, it has also been confirmed that the events that have occurred in the Urdr Hunt mobile game would be getting its own anime spinoff. However, a release date has yet to be confirmed.

But the makers appears to be going for a movie instead of an animated series since the descriptions list it specifically as a film with the following description:

The “Urdr Hunt,” a prize race with a prize money so huge that it could buy a colony.
Wistario Afam, who lives on the abandoned planet Venus, happens to qualify for the competition.
Through encounters and conflicts with other participants aiming to win the prize money, Wistario gradually approaches the mystery behind the race…

The anime adaptation announcement came as a surprise since the game has already announced its end of service. However, with this reveal, this could be a way for the western audiences to enjoy seeing them in action. Unfortunately, no official English release has been revealed for the upcoming Urdr Hunt anime film.
