Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance 2nd official teaser reveals that it will premiere in Netflix globally

Bandai Namco Filmworks has revealed that its new animation project Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance will exclusively premiere on Netflix globally. The information was unveiled through the new teaser that they released last Monday.

The animated series is a six 30-minute episode that will stream worldwide. The story is set on the European Front during the One Year War, which was made famous by the first Gundam anime. The characters that will be the center of the story are Iria Sorari (left in image below), and the mechas Zeon mobile suit Zaku II (center) and the Federation mobile suit Gundam (right).

The series will be directed by German artist Erasmus Brosdau, who is known for Origin Zero and Warhammer 40.000's "The Lord Inquisitor: Seed of Ambition". Voicing the lead character and will perform the motion-capture for animation is the Australian actress Celia Massingham, who is known for DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Ladies in Black.

Along with Erasmus Brosdau, the people who will be working alongside the director are the staff at Sunrise and Safe House that will produce the animation entirely with Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5. The writer of the series is Gavin Hignight, who is known for Tekken: Bloodline, Transformers: Cyberverse, Star Wars: Resistance, Marvel's Spider-Man game. Hignight will also be an executive producer with Naohiro Ogata, who is known for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury and Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt. Hiroaki Yura will be producing.

The main character designing will be done by Manuel Augusto Dischinger Moura while the mechanical design supervisor is Kimitoshi Yamane, who is known for working on multiple Gundam projects, Cowboy Bebop, and Escaflowne. The composing of the music for the series will be worked on by Wilbert Roget II, known for composing music for Mortal Kombat 11, Call of Duty: WWII, and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris games.
