Mobile Suit Gundam: U.C. Engage will be released this year for mobile devices

A new mobile game titled as Mobile Suit Gundam: U.C. Engage has been revealed by Bandai Namco and Sunrise. The game will be released in Japan this year.

As what the title of the game insinuated, the mobile game is specifically set in the Universal Century timeline. This game will bring famous pilots from the universe such as Amuro Ray, Kamille Bidan, Judau Ashta, Banagher Links, Seabook Arno, and Uso Ewin. It will also include Jutta Qasim and the AMS-123X-X Moon Gundam of the ongoing manga series Mobile Suit Moon Gundam. Aside from the characters mentioned, U.C. Engage will also feature an original female protagonist affiliated with Anaheim Electronics.

Bandai Namco has also released a teaser trailer, however, it is region-locked and can only be viewed in Japan. The press release described Mobile Suit Gundam: U.C. Engage as a war simulation game where players will be field up to six units and will go against six enemy units in a strategy battle game. The game will also retell stories from the Universal Century Gundam titles.

More details will be revealed by Bandai Namco today. Amuro Ray’s voice actor Toru Furuya will attend the presentation.
