Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is Coming to PC on Steam PC 

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will not just be a Switch exclusive. It has been confirmed that it will also be having a PC release.

In the full trailer of Monster Hunter Stories 2 released by Capcom, a big surprise is awaiting fans. The logo of Steam towards the end has made it clear that the game will also be coming to PC. It's too bad that Monster Hunter Rise will not be getting the same version, but this announcement more than makes up for it. During the recent Monster Hunter Digital Event, Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Stories 2 is officially scheduled to be released on July 9, 2021, simultaneously with the Switch version.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is an RPG-spinoff title from the Monster Hunter series and is a direct sequel to Monster Hunter Stories. It will be seeing the main character raise and forge a bond with the legendary Razewing Rathalos, a creature well-known for its destructive power. Will it be an ally, or the terror that wreaks havoc upon the world?

Based from the second trailer released, another one of its surprises is that the previous singe-player game will be having a new co-op mode, where players will team up with another to take on monsters and accomplish multiplayer quests together. The trailer also teased the possibility of doing combination Kinship attacks. This feature will be a great addition for players who like to team up with friends and fans can't wait to see how extensive this co-op multiplayer mode will be.

Razewing Ratha, Tsukino, and Ena, characters from the game, will be available as amiibo before the game's release and will allow players to download and use layered armor in-game. Players will also be able to to activate some special layered armor in Monster Hunter 2 Stories: Wings of Ruin, If you have saved data from Monster Hunter Rise.
