MPL Invitational Playoffs Results - An Indonesian team is the Champion!

The playoffs started with the quarterfinals of the remaining 8 teams. Here are the results of the Playoffs match-ups:

The quarterfinals match-ups are very interesting since it will be a battle of Indonesia Vs. Indonesia in the RRQ Vs. Alter Ego bracket. A battle of two Philippine teams in Bren Esports Vs. Aura PH bracket, and a battle of two Myanmar teams in Burmese Ghouls Vs. Ronin Esports bracket. Meanwhile, Geek Fam faced Todak in their own bracket.

Geek Fam swept Todak eliminating the MY/SG Champion, 2-0. In the battle of Indonesian teams, Alter Ego won with a 2-0 score against RRQ. On the other hand, Burmese Ghouls defeated Ronin Esports, 2-0. Meanwhile, Aura PH used the Diggie feeding strategy again to win Game 1 against Bren Esports but lost in Game 2 and Game 3. Bren Esports advanced in the semi-finals to face Burmese Ghouls.

In the last day of the tournament, it started with another battle of Indonesian teams, Alter Ego Vs. Geek Fam. Alter Ego swept the series, 2-0, to advance in the Grand Finals. On the other bracket, Bren Esports won 2-1 against Burmese Ghouls.

The Grand Finals is a best-of-5 series but surprisingly, it only took 3 games since Alter Ego finished the series with a score of 3-0, thus winning the championship with a flawless record.

Alter Ego's core player, Celiboy, was named as the MVP of the MPL Invitational Final. A big congratulations to him and his team for winning this tournament.

The next international tournament was already announced which is the M2 to be held on January 2021.
