The final week of the regular season has come. The Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines has now been more intense! The Week 8 of MPL-PH Season 6 regular season has just ended and here are the results.
1. The week opened with the much awaited El Clasico match between the Bren Esports and Cignal Ultra. These two teams did not fail to meet the expectations of their fans as it turned out to be another very intense series. It ended with Bren Esports being victorious with a series score of 2-1.
2. The second series was between Blacklist International and Execration. These two teams were still trying to take the top spot in Group A that is why it was an intense series. Execration won this time with a 2-0 sweep.
3. The first series for Day 2 started with the BSB and Omega PH match. BSB exits the regular season with another loss since Omega PH won the series with a 2-0 victory.
4. The next series was the match between Aura PH and Blufire. Aura PH was the one who's still victorious at the end with a series score of 2-0.
5. The last series for Day 2 was the match between Onic PH and Cignal Ultra. The rookie team Cignal Ultra fought hard against the two-time first runner ups yet suffered another loss. Onic PH won 2-0.
6. The day 3 of week 3 started with the match between Cignal Ultra and Nexplay Esports. Nexplay seems very strong but they got swept, 2-0, by their co-rookie team, Cignal Ultra.
7. The second series for the third week is the match between Execration and Omega PH. Execration still tried to gather more points but they only got 1 since Omega PH won the series 2-1.
8. The second to the last series of the regular season was the match between Bren Esports and Blacklist International. Bren Esports didn't gave Blacklist International a chance to get points as they won 2-0 and made Blacklist International the 3rd placer in Group A.
9. The week closed with the much awaited rivalry match between Aura PH and Onic PH. The time has come and it seems it favored Onic PH as they won their very first series against Aura PH and it is a 2-0 sweep!
Here are the standings after Week 8:
Execration leads Group A while Bren Esports leads Group B. Blufire and BSB, the bottom-most team in Group A and Group B, are eliminated respectively.
