do you get the error ws-37397-9? if yes then what i did that worked for me is change the MAC address of the router because Sony may have black listed your external IP address. and the only solution is to change it. But others are using VPN and hotspot method that may work but if you plan to play multiplayer then expect heavy lag

How do you change the mac address for pldt mydsl? I tried contacting pldt but to no avail.
Sorry if this took too long to reply i hope you have already found your solution but here is mine nevertheless. First you must access your router's/modem's ip address.
  1. directly plug your pc/laptop to your modem/router and it differs in every isp. but you should find the ip address at the back. take note of it.
  2. open your laptop/desktop browser and put the ip address in your address bar.
  3. login to your modem/router(again it depends on the isp for the username and password. google the brand and model of the router/modem being used to have the default username and password in order to login to the modem/router)
  4. head over to the options for mac address should look something like this (F0:97:98:52:5D:C8 to F0:97:98:52:5D:C7) if you dont have a mac address activate it.
  5. change a single letter or number(i prefer changing the last number or letter)
  6. boom new ip restart router and turn on your ps4 and you should be able to login to psn

yes for my case nag wowork siya. meron din naman yung option na keep restarting your router or modem until mag connect to psn. but i find that method tiring and just temporary fix. this however, is somewhat permanent because wala na ako issue connecting right now
