Two Filipino teams headline MARVEL Super War Grand Finals
The Philippines cemented itself as the country producing the top MARVEL Super War (MSW) teams in the region. It’s not an exaggeration that PH is dominating the MSW tournament, especially when all four groups were topped by Filipino teams. Five out of the eight Knockout Stage spots were taken by PH squads, and although the top Thai teams fought valiantly for pride and glory, when the dust settled Imperium Pro Team (IPT) and NMD Rage remained.
It’ll be a tough matchup for NMD Rage, especially after they suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Imperium Pro Team in the upper bracket finals. They got another chance to prove themselves and snatch the crown away from IPT after defeating Thailand’s Tuby in the lower bracket finals. Meanwhile, IPT has done nothing but cement themselves as massive favorites to win the tournament after only dropping two games in total. Will NMD get a different result or will IPT take their rightful place as the MARVEL Super War SEA Invitational Champions? Watch the Grand Finals and find out on November 6, live on Top Clans 2020 official channels.
PH and VN clans clash in the battlefield for the Rules of Survival crown
The final stand-off at the Rules of Survival SEA Invitational happens on November 7-8. From the top 32 teams in the region, only 16 teams remain. All the past rounds no longer matter because all scores will reset. The stakes have never been higher and only one team will claim the championship.
13 of the top 16 sixteen teams are Filipino squads, but that doesn’t mean you can write them off from beating everyone and coming out on top of the pack. The Vietnamese teams have proven themselves to be the dark horse of this tournament, and they are determined to take the throne away from the Philippines. Last year’s champion LESAVAGE still has a chance to defend their throne, but they haven’t looked like the team that dominated the tournament a year ago. The three teams that looked far and ahead of the pack have been WNM, Maniac, and BARCODE. But knowing the competition, anything can happen in the Grand Finals.
