Netmarble plans to release Tower of God: New World

Tower of God: New World, a game adaption by Netmarble, will be released soon. The game, along with a slew of other projects in the works, was announced during their Netmarble Together with Press event.

Netmarble unveiled their new game lineup at a Korean press conference earlier today. Of course, their new action RPG game based on the now-famous Solo Leveling series attracted the most attention.

Who knew we'd be returning with more less than a month after the series officially ended? Apart from its initial key graphic art, all we know about Tower of God: New World is that it will be a new collectible RPG featuring characters from the titular series. Given Netmarble's track record, we may assume it will be a mobile game.

The game will be a single-player role-playing game based on the infamous manhwa of the same name, Solo Leveling! In-game, players can boost their fighting power by expanding their Shadow Army or recruiting powerful hunters to join their guild. The game will include several cinematic moments and will appear to follow the manhwa's plot.

NGEL Games is also creating Tower of God M / Tower of God M: Great Journey, a mobile release that has already begun collecting pre-registrations in Korea, indicating that the series is popular enough to merit at least two gaming adaptations. At the time of writing, no release date for NGEL Games' title was available.

The game does not yet have a release date because, as previously said, it is still in early development. However, based on the trailer and the gameplay shown, I predict the game will be launched around early 2023.
