Earlier this year, Korean gaming giant Netmarble acquired a team of indie developers (TeamSoulEve) who has been working on Overprime. It is a game developed using the assets of the Unreal Engine 4 MOBA Paragon, that Epic Games stopped working on.
Although Epic Games stopped working on Overprime, the team was legally using the assets as Epic Games allowed all the Paragon assets to be used freely. Thanks to the benevolence of Epic Games, Netmarble has released a cinematic trailer for Overprime.
Overprime is Netmarble’s first ever 3D third person shooter (TPS) MOBA for Windows PC. The game combines the best of both genres, the 3D third person shooter with the multiplayer online battle arena in the sci-fi inspired battlefields.
Players will take one of the five roles in 5v5 combat and will engage in a strategic and cooperative gameplay to win against the enemies. For now, stay tuned for further updates of the game!
