The Finals event featured the league’s triumphant return to the place where it all began, a humble mall in Makati City, which also served as the battlegrounds for the Philippines budding esports stars.

Rivalries between long-time competitors were reignited over the course of the live event. The Arena of Valor leg of the Grand Finals saw BREN Esports once again make their way to the Grand Finals matchup only to be halted by MaxBox Gaming in a thrilling 3-1 victory. BREN Esports are once again denied the grand champion title they have pined for since the first PPGL AOV Finals in March 2018. MaxBox Gaming walked away with the championship title and the PHP 50,000 grand prize.
The Tekken 7 Grand Finals saw the third consecutive meeting of rivals Alexandre “PBE|AK” Laverez & Andreij “PBE|Doujin” Albar for the Globe PPGL Season 3 Tekken 7 title. AK won their first two grand finals matchups in the first two season of the Globe PPGL, but Doujin was clearly determined to change the outcome of the latest season of the league. Doujin earned the advantage in his fight against AK by dominating the Winner’s bracket of the tournament. Their final match eventually ended with a 3-2 score in favor of PBE|Doujin, securing his first victory over AK at a PPGL grand final, earning him a well-deserved championship finish.
Mineski’s League of Legends squad returned to the Globe PPGL stage in the hopes of retaining their championship title in order to become back-to-back champions. They were matched up against a reinvigorated TNC Pro Team led by the veteran top laner Jaiby “JLC” Paglingayen. The grand finals matchup saw the clash between the country’s best mid laner in Mineski’s Eric “Exo” Gubatan and the best Filipino top laner, JLC. The series came down to the absolute limit as both teams forced a final game five to settle their scores. TNC ultimately came out victorious, crushing Mineski with a 3-2 victory to seize the Globe PPGL Season 3 League of Legends title.
The entire Grand Finals event featured exciting matches and rematches worthy of any amazing esports event.
