A new mobile game based off on a popular anime series was announced recently by Bandai Namco.
The game was titled as, 転生したらスライムだった件 魔王と竜の建国譚 or Tensura: Demon King and Dragon's Kingdom Building Tale which is rough translation of the Japanese title. As you can understand from the title itself, this game will be about players building their own kingdoms.
The idea which the game is all about came from how the anime series, Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken or That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, started. In the series, Rimuru built the Jura Tempest Federation from scratch, from only being a village of nameless goblins to a kingdom of different races of dwarves, goblins, wolves, orc, lizardmen and kijin that live in peace and harmony.
However, in the game, players can't build their kingdoms immediately. Just like Rimuru, players will have to take their time to build their kingdoms to what they desire. Players will start from a small village. Bandai Namco also added that a unique story overseen by creator, Fuse, will be featured in the game. The game is scheduled to be released this year in Japan.
