New Tokyo Revengers 3D Action RPG is coming to consoles, PC, and mobile this winter

A new 3D action RPG based on the Tokyo Revengers anime series is in development, according to Victor Entertainment, the Japanese business that owns the JVC Music brand. The game will be released on mobile platforms, the Nintendo Switch, PC via DMM Games, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

With characters from the series rendered in 3D, you can enjoy an accurate replica of Shibuya's streets while constantly jumping through time to avert the worst-case scenario. The game will include a "gorgeous voice cast" and be based on the manga's plot; however, it is unclear whether it will use the same voice actors as the anime. This game will be available for free to play with in-game purchases.

About Tokyo Revengers

A 31-volume Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ken Wakui that ran in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine between March 2017 and November 2022 has been adapted into a number of media, including an ongoing anime series, an original web animation, live-action movies, and video games. For the previous 26 years, Takemichi Hanagaki has been leading an unfulfilling life. He is standing still on the train tracks when he discovers one day that his ex-girlfriend was murdered by the Tokyo Manji Gang. He is then pushed over the station onto the tracks and ran over.

At the height of his rock-bottom life, he suddenly time-leaps twelve years back to his middle school days. To save Hinata, and change the life he spent running away, hopeless part-timer Takemichi must aim for the top of Kanto’s most sinister delinquent gang.
