New Vivo Y27s will be featuring Snapdragon 680 chipset and an IP54 rating

The Vivo Y27s is the most recent model in the Y-series from Vivo. The handset, which debuted in Indonesia first, has an improved punch hole screen and is one of the main distinctions between the Vivo Y27 and Y27 5G.

The 6.64-inch LED LCD of the Vivo Y27s has a refresh rate of 90 Hz and FHD+ resolution. An 8MP front-facing camera is housed in the punch hole cutout, and the power button has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into it.

At its core is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 680 CPU, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of expandable UFS 2.2 storage that can be expanded with a microSD card slot. Similar to the previous two Vivo Y27 variants, the rear houses a 2MP depth camera in addition to a 50MP primary camera (f/1.8). The Y27s' increased IP54 water and dust protection is a significant benefit. The phone has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 44W rapid charging and runs Funtouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13. It is available in Garden Green and Burgundy Black.

Currently available in Indonesia, the Vivo Y27s costs IDR 2,399,000 for the 8GB+128GB configuration. In today's currency, that equates to roughly PHP 8,500. The cost of the 8GB+256GB trim is IDR 2,799,000, or around PHP 9,900.
