Nintendo has released a new update today in addition to the announcement details of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's first expansion to celebrate the role playing game. The update doesn't add any new gameplay features, but it lets you listen to the game's audio in one of its nine languages and then use a different language for text on-screen.

On Nintendo Switch, this is enabled when you download the update, which is 1.2.0. For Wii U, you need to download a Voice Pack from the eShop. Today's Breath of the Wild patch also includes various fixes to improve the gameplay experience. However, Nintendo did not offer any specifics about what's changed.

Breath of the Wild was a launch title for the Switch, becoming the fastest-selling launch title for a Nintendo platform ever. It has now shipped more than 3.84 million copies across Switch and Wii U.
