Nexplay EVOS’ Dogie talks about what he had observed during their controversial match against Omega Esports

Nexplay EVOS’ pro player gives a piece of his mind about what he has observed during their controversial match against Omega Esports.

On October 14, Dogie posted a vlog where he talked about their match against Omega Esports during the final week of MPL PH Season 8.

Dogie said that he believes that Omega Esports wanted to maintain their fourth spot in heading into the playoffs. He supported his claim by saying that Omega Esports intentionally didn’t deploy their strongest players during the final match. This means that the players deployed during the final match could play casually and the main players of Omega Esports will not be liable.

“It was very obvious guys, they did not include Ch4knu, Kelra, Renzio, and E2MAX but he did play a bit,” stated Dogie. “Their main five (players) won't get penalized.”

Omega Esports’ main five members are Kiel VJ “Kielvj” Hernandez, Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic, Renz “Renzio” Cadua, Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog, Duane “Kelra” Pillas.

Dogie added that when they got the idea of what Omega Esports were doing at that time, they decided to go along with and secure the win.

“When I saw the lineup (of Omega Esports), they really wanted to lose,” stated Dogie.

Dogie then continued with his statements and said that they will fight any team, and they’re not picky in who they will go against.

“Just because OHEB got suspended, that’s not our reason why we want to go against Blacklist International,” stated Dogie. ”We really want to fight all the teams.”

For the MPL PH Season 8 playoffs, Nexplay EVOS is scheduled to fight RSG PH while Omega Esports is against ECHO. Both the matches are scheduled on October 21. Whoever wins on the first match will fight ONIC PH while the winner on the second match will be going against Blacklist International.
