Nokia announces the new C22 and C32 with up to 3 days battery life, 90Hz display, 50MP camera

During the MWC 2023 in Barcelona, Nokia, which is owned by HMD Global, unveiled three new smartphones. With a battery life of up to three days and improved camera capabilities, the Nokia G22, Nokia C32, and Nokia C22 smartphones were introduced. While the Nokia C32 boasts the greatest image system on a C-series Nokia handset to date, the Nokia G22 also happens to be a highly repairable device according to the firm. The durability of the Nokia C22 smartphone is a point of pride for the firm. Let's look at it.


The Nokia C22 is available in two RAM configurations, a 2GB+64GB and a 3GB+64GB model, with starting costs of EUR 129 (about Rs 11,310). Sand and Midnight Black are the available color options for the Nokia C22.

With prices starting at EUR 129 (about Rs 12,187), the Nokia C32 is also available in 3GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB RAM variants and comes in Charcoal, Autumn Green, and Beach Pink color options.

With prices starting at EUR 179 (about Rs 15,694), the Nokia G22 is available in Meteor Grey and Lagoon Blue and has 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB RAM options.

With IP52 splash and dust protection, toughened 2.5D display glass, and a robust metal chassis wrapped within a polycarbonate unibody design, the Nokia C22 aspires to be an extremely durable product. The gadget has a Unisoc 9863A1 processor, up to 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage that can hold up to 256GB. The device uses a 5,000mAh battery that can reportedly last three days and supports 10W charging. The phone has an 8MP front camera, 13MP dual camera, and 6.5-inch HD+ display. The gadget has a fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE capability, and Android 13 software (Go Edition).


The 50MP main camera on the Nokia C32 is its standout feature, and Nokia claims it offers the greatest imaging experience among its C series handsets. A 2MP macro camera and an 8MP front camera are placed alongside the primary sensor. The system has an option for up to 4GB of Memory. The remainder of the device is almost unchanged from the previously stated Nokia C22.

The Nokia G22 is equipped with a Unisoc T606 SoC, up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage. The 6.5-inch HD+ display on the Nokia G22 features Corning Gorilla and a high refresh rate of 90Hz. A 50MP primary camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera are all included in the device's triple camera setup.

Nokia claims that the device is very repairable and has teamed up with iFixit to release manuals and the most often damaged parts. The Nokia G22 features an Android 12 operating system, a 5,050mAh battery, and a fingerprint sensor.
