Nubia’s gaming-focused smartphone, Red Magic 9 Pro, is ready to roll out for its official launch this year, and the company has already unveiled some sneak peeks for the official look of this smartphone. It features a flat screen with under-display front cameras, an 8.9 mm thin profile, and RGB lights. It is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 33 chipset.
According to reports, the official renders indicate that the Red Magic 8 Pro will inspire the phone’s other design with upgrades. As aforementioned, the handset suggests a flat frame without any camera bumps where the cameras are arranged under the glass backs. It is also shown with a built-in cooling fan below the lenses, a custom RGB lighting design, and the number “09” indicating the series.
The Red Magic 9 Pro features a 50 MP triple on the back, a mode trigger beneath the circular power key on the right side, and the traditional aesthetics of the Red Magic brand.
The official images confirmed that the color options that are translated from Chinese include Dark Night Knight, Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night, and Deuterium Front Transparent Silver Wing. The phone is also confirmed to measure 8.9 mm in thickness.
The Red Magic 9 Pro recently appeared during the Geekbench, where the listing indicated that the smartphone will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 12GB of RAM, and will be operated by Android 14.
Nubia already confirmed its official launch on November 23 this year and is expected to release additional information about this upcoming gaming phone when released.
