Omega Empress to represent PH in MLBB Women’s Invitational 2024 in Riyadh after finals win versus TNCZ4

Guild of Guardians
The Philippines’ qualifier for the MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI) 2024 ended with Omega Empress winning 3-0 versus TNCZ4 in the Grand Finals. This Grand Finals series happened on-site on the same day of MLBB Development League Season 3 Playoffs. There were four teams that played in the on-site qualifiers and it started with the best-of-3 match of Omega Empress versus ONIC ZOL while TNCZ4 FE faced SMFE. Omega Empress and TNCZ4 won both of their respective matches and thus, they were the ones that played in the best-of-5 Grand Finals.

The champion Omega Empress is coached by a former MPL-PH player, Salman Macarambon which is known as his in-game-name of KingSalman when he played in the TNC Pro Team. The roster includes the following players: Rica "Amoree" Amores, Kaye "Keishi" Alpuerto, Mery "Meraaay" Vivero, Gwyneth "not ayanami" Diagon, and Sheen "Shinoa" Perez. Based on the pre-announced Team Allocation in MWI 2024 per country/region, there is only one slot for the Philippines and Omega Empress earned that slot.

Thus, TNCZ4 FE is the second placer of the MWI 2024 PH Qualifiers with ONIC ZOL and SMFE finishing 3rd-4th place. As the Philippines representative, Omega Empress will play in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the MWI 2024 sometime this July 2024. There is still no specific date and schedule mentioned and it also seems the list of teams qualified for the tournaments is also still incomplete. There will be announcements in the official facebook page of Mobile Legends Esports about this tournaments along with the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024 that would also be hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
