ONIC Esports has released their League of Legends: Wild Rift roster

ONIC Esports announced through their official social media site that they will be releasing their League of Legends: Wild Rift roster.

The team was first established back in March 2021. The team consisted of Arena of Valor and League of Legends PC pro players and three rookies, however, after only 4 months of competitive play in League of Legends: Wild Rift, they disbanded on July 22, 2021.

This is the english translation of the caption:

“Today, Mimin wants to tell you that we also have to part with ONIC Wild Rift. Thank you for all the dedication and achievements that have been given while being part of the ONIC Esports journey. Best of luck with your future career. See you next time.”

Before their disbandment, the team got the championship for the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Summer Season Indonesia and also got the chance to represent their country in the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Summer Super Cup where they ended in the 9th-12th place in the final rankings.

ONIC Esports is yet to reveal the reason for the disbandment of their Wild Rift roster. Its former players are currently free agents and are looking for new teams to join. Given their accolades and their performance, a lot of teams may be trying to acquire them.
