Philippine Pro Gaming League Returns With Online-Only Format

Together with Mineski Esports Philippines and Globe Telecom, the much-awaited Esport league in the Philippines has now returned for 2020 to pit the best among the best gamers in the Philippines.

Philippine Pro Gaming League 2020 has finally announced the schedules for players who wanted to register to be part of their league. Due to the existing community quarantine, some changes are made in order to make the said event viable even if competitors are inside their homes. From multi-platform format, the league will only now caters online mobile games tournament with the following popular MOBA and Battle Royale games:

• Call of Duty Mobile
• Marvel Super War
• Rules of Survival Mobile
• Mobile Legends

Another event to look forward to in the league in the first season of Mobile Legends Community Cup where fans can have the chance to play with celebrity esports influencers.

All Filipino players whether professional or casual gamers can register to the league for free. You can check out their official site to register and visit their FB page for upcoming updates. In the meantime, here are the schedule of registrations, qualifier and group stage for those who wanted to become part of this all-Filipino sports league. You can also review their Tournament Rules for reference:


Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Community Cup ( Registration opens on April 21, 2020)

• Eight (8) team captains will compete in a 12-day MLBB community cup with their fans.
• A team of four (4) can register and select the PPGL ambassador they want to play with. Limited slots only.
• Each captain’s team will battle it out each day in a single-elimination format. One team per day will win PHP 10,000.
• Stream schedule: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00-5:00 PM starting April 28 until June 4, 2020

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Registration opens on May 1, 2020)

• Qualifier Dates: June 9, 16, 23, 30
• Group Stage: July 11 and 18

Marvel Super War (Registration Opens on May 2, 2020)

• Qualifier Dates: June 11, 18, 25, July 2
• Group Stage: July 12 and 19

Call of Duty Mobile (Registration Opens on April 17, 2020)

• Qualifier Dates: April 29, May 6, 13, 20
• Group Stage: June 20 and 27

Rules of Survival (Registration Opens on April 18, 2020)

• Qualifier Dates: May 1, 8, 15, 22
• Group Stage: June 21 and 28
