I'm not on ph so may net speed quite fast lol anyway if there's lag I suggest don't go beyond 3500 bitrate and 720p

Hi I'm new here but a veteran gamer and streamer on Twitch.tv. Hope we can all support each other. My channel is twitch.tv/aeonknight86 and I mainly stream Warframe but also will do a variety of games as well like Horror Genre games. You'll occassionally hear me sing on my channel as well

Here's my anecdote :
Even if you have 1Mbps upload speed, with the correct settings and stuff,here's my experience with the video / stream quality :
As a general rule, If the game has a lot of screen movement, the more bitrate you need.

Games with highly static screens :
- Games like Fire Emblem / Darkest Dungeon / Romance of the Three Kingdoms
(OK kahit 720p, )

- Platformers are pretty high in screen movement, especially games like Sonic.
(You need to lower resolution to something like 1120x630 or 960x540)

- High movement fighting games like Tekken , Street Fighter
(LOL, wag, walang makikita viewers mo on 720p, you need to lower the resolution to something like 800x480 if you want your viewers to see anything other than a mash of pixels.

Example from my stream / youtube upload. They are on 768Kbps bitrate on 1120x630 resolution.

This one is from a streategy game Twin Road (Viewer warning lang, hentai game to hehe)

On map movement, medyo nalabo ung quality, but on the low res and low movement sa fight scenes, they're prefectly fine.

Family Computer :
Generally no problems kasi low resolution naman ang Family Computer games kahit fighting games.
