The very popular Pokemon Go by Niantic Labs has released a new update. A driver reminder has been included in the update, this reminds you when driving at a top speed while catching a pokemon for safety precautions because playing while driving is against the driving code. For the list of log changes of the update you can check it below, but apparently the "Nearby" feature is gone, replaced by "Sightings.

Pokemon Go August 8 Patch Notes:

    • Added a dialog to remind Trainers that they should not play while traveling above a certain speed. Trainers must confirm they are not driving in order to continue playing.
    • Made improvements to the accuracy of a curveball throw
    • Fixed a bug that prevented ”Nice,” ”Great,” and “Excellent” Poké Ball throws from awarding the appropriate XP bonuses.
    • Fixed achievements showing incorrect Medal icons.
    • Enabled the ability for Trainers to change their nickname one time. Please choose your new nickname wisely.
    • Resolved issues with the battery saver mode on iOS and re-enabled the feature.
    • Added visuals of Team Leaders Candela, Blanche, and Spark.
    • We’re currently testing a variation of the “Nearby Pokémon” feature with a subset of users. During this period you may see some variation in the nearby Pokémon UI.
    • Minor text fixes

Actually Nearby is in Beta so it's only available to limited number of players.

"only a limited number of players will get the best new tracking feature, and those who do might not all see the same variation of it. You may, however, have noticed that your Nearby panel has changed. Keep in mind that just because you see a new “sightings” feature that has grass behind your Pokemon, this does not mean that you have the best new enhanced Nearby feature that is being tested."
