Pokémon UNITE is Now Available for Download via a Third Party Site

Pokémon UNITE is now available to download and play. Well, technically, I guess.

Just to remind you what Pokémon UNITE is, it is a "free to start" 5v5 team based strategy game. The main focus of the game is to have more points than the other team in the game's appointed scoring zone while also partaking in battles against other players. Like in the main games, you can learn new moves and evolve your Pokémon as you level up in the game.

Regional beta test will happen this March in Canada but you also could partake in it and play the Pokémon UNITE even if you're not in Canada or even if you're not a resident from there. Just follow these instructions and you'll be good to go.

How to Download Pokémon UNITE
  1. You should have a Taptap app installed on your phone.
  2. On there, search for the Pokémon UNITE Beta.
  3. Once done, click the app and press download.
  4. After the download, install the game and now you can enjoy the beta version of Pokémon UNITE.
The game is currently available on TapTap. It is a third party app site specialized for Android devices. Keep in mind that this isn't an official release and it is most likely to be a leaked build of the game since several regional beta tests had been announced.

About Pokémon UNITE

Pokémon UNITE is a strategic team battle game being developed jointly by The Pokémon Company and Tencent Games’ TiMi Studios. Pokémon UNITE is planned as a cross-platform game for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices and will be free-to-start.

In this game, players face off against each other in 5-on-5 team battles. During battles, players will cooperate with teammates to catch wild Pokémon, level up and evolve their own Pokémon, and defeat opponents’ Pokémon while trying to earn more points than the opposing team within the allotted time.

Pokémon UNITE introduces a new kind of Pokémon battle—one that requires teamwork and strategy. It is simple and yet full of intricacies waiting to be unpacked.
